Since its formation, Geddes Consulting has been at the forefront of innovation in Scottish Planning, generating new ways to help secure sustainable economic growth. As well as contributing to the consultation process for the reform of the Scottish planning system, Geddes has developed approaches to the following:
- Focussing the delivery of affordable housing on a procurement approach including the valuation of the transfer of serviced land and commuted payments for affordable housing, minimising development risk and financial exposure for developers, and identifying practical means to deliver affordable housing for Councils and RSLs.
